1) For USA model, remote control with

a ferrite core is supplied.

2) For China and Tourist models, the ferrite core is

not attached to the dedicated USB cable.

3) Do not play a CD-ROM on an audio CD player.

Note

When using this player, remember to follow the

precautions below in order to avoid warping the

cabinet or causing the player to malfunction.

– Make sure not to sit down with the player in your

back pocket.

– Make sure not to put the player into a bag with the

remote or the headphones/earphones cord wrapped

around it and then subject the bag to strong

impact.

How to use the supplied ferrite core

(European model only)

The ferrite core is supplied with this player.

Make sure to attach the ferrite core in the way

described below. (You must attach a ferrite

core to comply with the applicable EMC

standards.)

When the player with the remote is connected

to your computer, make sure to attach the

ferrite core to the remote cord in the way

described following. When the player is not

connected to your computer, attaching the

ferrite core is not necessary.
