Singing along: Karaoke
1 Press DVD/CD or USB to select
“DVD/CD” or “USB”.
2 Turn MIC LEVEL on the unit to
MIN to reduce the microphone
volume level.
3 Connect an optional microphone
to MIC 1 or MIC 2 jack on the unit.
Connect another optional microphone
if you want to sing in duet.
4 Start playing the music and
adjust the volume. Press
ECHO +/– to adjust the echo
effect.
5 Start singing along with the
music.
To turn off the Karaoke Mode
Disconnect all the microphones or hold
down SHIFT, then press KARAOKE
MODE.
Notes
Karaoke Mode is automatically turned off
when you
turn off the system.

If howling occurs:
move the microphone away from the
system.
change the direction of the microphone.
lower the MIC LEVEL.
press VOL – or ECHO – repeatedly.
The sound from the microphone will not be
transferred to the USB device during USB
transfer.
Press KEY CONTROL 2/# to suit
your vocal range in Karaoke Mode.
You can enjoy karaoke with a stereo-
recorded track, audio file, or video file,
even if it is a non-karaoke disc or media,
by reducing the sound of the vocals.
Press KARAOKE PON in Karaoke
Mode.
“K.PON ON” appears in the display
panel.
To cancel Karaoke Pon Mode
Press KARAOKE PON again.
When Karaoke Mode is turned on, you
can use the scoring mode.
Your score is calculated from a scale of 0
to 99 by comparing your voice with the
music source.
1 Start playing the music.
2 Press SCORE before singing a
song in Karaoke Mode.
3 After singing for more than a
minute, press SCORE again to
view your score.
To select the rating of the Score
