1 Press the (Playback) button to switch to playback mode.

2 Receive image data by aligning (TransferJet) marks on the camera

and other device.

A beep sounds when the connection is successful.

• Some images cannot be played back on this camera.

• If an image database file error occurs during saving images, an image recovery screen appears.

• To play back images that could not be registered to the database file, play back in [Folder view (Still)].

zTips for transferring data

Aligning (TransferJet) marks on the camera and other device.

• Transfer speed or range varies depending on the angle at which

the (TransferJet) marks face each other.

• It may be necessary to alter the position/angle of the camera until

communication can be obtained.

• For a better transfer, position the cameras parallel to each other so

the (TransferJet) marks are close as illustrated.

zUsing TransferJet-compatible devices (sold

separately)

Using TransferJet-compatible devices (sold separately) allows you to transfer image data to

another device, such as a computer.

For details, refer to the operating instructions supplied with the TransferJet-compatible

devices.

• When you use TransferJet-compatible devices, be careful of the following:

– Press the (Playback) button on the camera to switch to playback mode beforehand.

– If no image is displayed, set MENU t (Settings) t (Main Settings) t [LUN Settings]

t [Single].

– You cannot record or delete data on this camera when the camera is connected to a TransferJet-

compatible device.

– Do not stop connection while importing the images to a computer using “PMB”.
