Playing Discs

Depending on the DVD or disc, some operation may be different or restricted. Refer to the operating instructions

supplied with your disc.

To turn on and off the player

-- The player is turned on automatically when the TV is powered on.

-- The player enters standby mode when the TV is powered off.

To begin playback

Access the DVD player through the TV’s menu. The point of access will differ based on the menu type or style

on your TV. Identify your TV menu (see page 11) and follow the directions below to proceed.

TVs with XMB

™

1 Turn on the TV.

2 Insert a disc into the player (see page 17).

3 Press HOME on the remote control

4 Highlight the Photo, Music, or Video icon.

These icons are added to the XMB

™

when the

associated content is available on the disc.

5 Highlight your selection and press .

TVs with Panel Menu

1 Turn on the TV.

2 Insert a disc into the player (see page 17).

3 Press HOME on the remote control.

4 Highlight the External Inputs category and

press .

5 Highlight DVD Link and press to switch to

the DVD player.
