VAIO Edit Components Software
VAIO Edit Components is a software plug-in for Adobe® Premiere® software
that provides maximum compatibility and video quality for capturing video from
your Sony digital camcorder. If your VAIO® computer did not have Adobe®
Premiere® software preinstalled and you subsequently purchase and install
Adobe® Premiere® software, install this software to ensure maximum
compatibility with Sony digital camcorders.
To install VAIO Edit Components
1 Insert your Application Recovery CD #1 into your optical drive.
2 Click Start, click My Computer, and click your optical drive.
3 Click Support, and click VEC.
4 Double-click Setup.
The VAIO Edit Components installation wizard starts.
5 Follow the on-screen instructions in the installation wizard to complete the
installation.
6 Restart your computer when prompted to do so.
✍ For some VAIO® models the VAIO Edit Components installer is on the #2 or #3
Application Recovery CD.
