Access point w ith data encryption (WEP) disabled:

Sele ct the netw ork to w hich you w ant to connect from the "Available w irele ss netw orks" list.

If data encryption (WEP) is enabled for the acces s point, enter an encryption key (WEP k e y) in the "Netw ork ke y" and "Confirm network

key" text boxes. If it is disabled, select the "Allow m e to connect the se lected w ireless netw ork, even though it is not secure" check

box.

Click "Connect".

The connection sw itches to the netw ork you selected.

When Window s XP Service Pack 1 is not installed

Right-click the "Wirele s s Ne twork Connection" icon on the taskbar, and then click "View Available Wireless Ne tworks" on the shortcut

menu.

The "Connect to Wireless Netw ork" dialog box appears.
