Removing, Installing, and Replacing Components

Connect the second power connector to the new drive.

Make sure the drive connector is connected securely to the

motherboard.

Lower the drive holder down and slide it back into the chassis (A in

next diagram). Be sure to align all four slots on the drive holder with

the tabs on top of the chassis.

Slide the drive holder back so that the tabs slip into the notches.

Replace the four screws (B) that secure the drive holder to the chassis.

Replace the cover (see “Replacing the Cover” on page 26).

Reconnect the power cord and then turn on your computer.
