Enjoying with the Network Function
Listening to Music on the
Mobile Device with
SongPal
SongPal is an application for controlling
compatible Sony audio devices using
your smartphone/iPhone.
Search for SongPal at Google Play or the
App Store and download it onto your
smartphone/iPhone.
For details about SongPal, refer to the
following URL.

Downloading SongPal on to your
smartphone/iPhone provides the
following.
Sound settings of the system
You can easily customize your sound, or
use the [ClearAudio+] setting
recommended by Sony.
Music service
You can configure the initial settings to
use music services*.
* Depending on the country and region,
music services and their period of
availability may differ.
An update of the device may be required.
When using Chromecast built-in on
music service, see “Using Chromecast
built-in” (page 38).
Enjoying music on your home
network
You can play music stored in your PC or
home network server over your
network.
Enjoying music on the USB device
You can play music on a device
connected to the (USB) port on the
unit.
What you can control with SongPal varies
depending on the connected device. The
specification and design of the application
may change without notice.
1 Download the free SongPal app to
the mobile device.
2 Connect the system and mobile
device with the BLUETOOTH
function (page 30) or network
function (page 19).
3 Start SongPal.
4 Operate by following the SongPal
screen.
Before using SongPal, be sure to set the
[Bluetooth Mode] to [Receiver] (page 53).
Use SongPal of the latest version.
Tips
You can connect the system and mobile
device with the NFC function (page 31).
When connecting with the network
function, connect the mobile device to
the same network as that of the system.
