Notes
You cannot select the action programmed for a Zapping view er or the LIST key as a key you w ant to refer to.
You cannot refer to a function button programmed w ith a Zapping action.
If the reference sequence loops, a message appears and the Alias action cannot be set. For further details, see "About alias loops" below .
The key that uses an Alias action to refer to the actions of the reference key w ill be erased in Emulate mode, if you move the reference key to the trash
can page or delete all actions from the reference key's Action list. For further details, see "Note on Alias action" below .
De lay action
Sets an interval (delay time) betw een actions.
The delay time ranges from 0.1 to 1.0 second.
(Example)
[Delay] 0.5sec
Sets an interval of 0.5 seconds (delay time) betw een actions.
The Delay action can be programmed for the follow ing keys and buttons:
Function keys
Function buttons
Component list elements
Zapping elements
Hint
AV components may not accept subsequent remote control signals just after they are turned on. Therefore, it is recommended to set an interval after the
action to turn on an AV component, using the Delay action.
Learn (learn+) action
An action being set w hen a function key or a button has learned a remote control signal of an AV component.
(Example)
[Learn] LN+DVDDVD PLAY

The Learn action can be programmed for the follow ing keys and buttons:
Function keys
Function buttons
Hint
If you teach remote control signals to a function key that does not have a preset action (Preset action or Preset_empty action), the Learn action is added. If
you teach to a function key that has a preset action, the Learn+ action is added instead of the Preset action or Preset_empty action.
Zapping action
Programs a Zapping group's view er operation (to jump to a previous element or the next element) for a function button.
(Example)
[Zapping] Sports
Handles the "Sports" Zapping group w ith the view er operation.
The Zapping action can be programmed for the follow ing buttons:
Function buttons
Notes
The Zapping action can be set only to function buttons other than Direct Access button.
The Zapping action cannot function together w ith other actions. If any other action is set to a function button, you cannot set the Zapping action to it.
Hint
Other than the actions mentioned above, function keys and buttons may be programmed w ith a Preset action or a Preset_empty action. A Preset action and a
Preset_empty action are factory-set actions set for a function key or button according to the AV component. Unlike other actions, the Preset action and the
Preset_empty action cannot be deleted.
About alias loops
If tw o or more keys have Alias actions that refer to each other, the operation repeats endlessly. This kind of reference is called an "alias loop."
For example, if key A and B have Action lists as follow s:
Action list of key A
[Alias] key B
Action list of key B
[Alias] key A
The alias loop created by key A and B referring to each other endlessly repeats operation.
NAVITUS Design checks the reference sequence w hen you set an Alias action. If the reference sequence loops, a message appears and the Alias action
cannot be set.
