The clock display can be turned off to minimize
the amount of power consumed during standby
(Power Saving Mode).
Press DISPLAY.
To cancel Power Saving Mode
Press DISPLAY.
Tips
The STANDBY indicator lights up even in the Power
Saving Mode.
The timer continues to operate in Power Saving
Mode.
You can check the playing time and remaining
time of the current track or that of the disc.
Checking the remaining time
(CD)
Press DISPLAY repeatedly.
Each time you press the button, the display
changes cyclically as follows:
During playback
Elapsed playing time on the current track

Remaining time on the current track

“– –:– –” appears when the total playing time of the
program exceeds 100 minutes, when the program
contains 31 tracks or more, or when a disc with 31
tracks or more is played in Shuffle Play mode.
