4 Press ENTER/YES on the remote.

The track is programmed. “Step” appears,

followed by the number of the track in the

programmed sequence. The number of the

last programmed track appears, followed by

the total playing time of the program.

Recording your favorite

CD tracks on an MD

— CD-MD Synchro Recording

You can select your favourite CD tracks with the

Program Play feature, then record the program on

an MD using the CD-MD Synchro Recording

feature. If you use a partially recorded MD,

recording starts after the recorded tracks.

Selecting the tracks

1 Press FUNCTION repeatedly to switch

the function to CD.

2 Press PLAY MODE repeatedly until

“PROGRAM” appears in stop mode.

3 Press MD/CD .m or M>

repeatedly until the desired track

number appears.

5 To program additional tracks, repeat

steps 3 and 4.

Recording on an MD

6 Insert a recordable MD.

7 Press CD-MD SYNC NORMAL.

The MD deck stands by for recording and the

CD player pauses for play.

8 Press MD HS.

CD playing and MD recording start. The CD

player and the MD deck stop automatically

when the recording is completed.

To stop recording

Press MD x.

If the MD becomes full during recording, the MD

deck and the CD player automatically stop.
